Release Hook For Drop Test Drop Tester Release Hooks Manufacture
Introduction
Release Hooks help determine the ability of a product or container to withstand impact loads which may be imposed upon such items during normal transit conditions.
The KDT2000 consists of a quick-release mechanism, lifting ring, and foot-switch for initiating the drop. Straps wrapped around the test item form a sling that attached to the O type ring, which is placed in the latch jaws of the quick-release mechanism. The quick-release mechanism and test package are then lifted to a pre-determined height by a fork-lift, winch, or other lifting device (not included). Press the Remote Foot-switch causing the latch jaws to open and the package to fall.

RELEASE HOOK Operation
Release Hook operation is easy! Simply secure the release hook mechanism to the overhead hoist using the lifting ring, fasten the belt straps to your package and attach the test load to the release hook. Raise the test load to the predetermined drop height and initiate the drop sequence by using the foot activated drop switch.
